Who is dilly dally?

My girls are not automatic type; meaning that we’ve to keep calling them do this and that. Among the 2, Wien is the worst. Have to call /remind her many many times, then only she will do as what we told. She is dilly dally type. Lyon slightly better than her. At least when I give instruction, she will be the first one come to me. Whereas Wien can do other things, like watching TV or doing her own stuff. I always call her Mak Nenek!
Hubby cannot stand her slowness. Every morning when he wakes her up, he will ask her brush teeth, drink milk and change to school uniform. If she dilly dally when time to leave the house, he will ignore her and abandon her at home instead of sending her to school. So far, this happen once. Naughty daddy ya.
Did she change after the incident? Nope. Still dilly dally and we have to keep calling her. When she saw her papa getting ready already, then only she speed up her engine.
For me, I will take out the cane to threaten her after 3rd time calling and also show my angry face. Then only she willing to leave everything behind and do the thing as I instruct.
*sigh* Tire!
Note: hubby and I are not dilly dally type though.
Aiyo, how come Wien sounds so much like Destinee! I thought my daughter’s the only one behaving like dat. I tell u, both of them can ’shake hands’. Des will never do anything automatically esp. her homework. I don’t know how many times I’ve to remind her to do her homework and I’ve even threaten to tell her teacher dat she never likes to do homework but … *sigh* … no use. She’ll do at the time I threaten her but after dat …. same dilly dally procedure again …. *double sigh* …
The only thing she does automatically is when I tell her there’re sweets, chocolates, ice-cream for her … she’ll come to me like ‘lightning’. Another automatically done thing by her is when I tell her dat she can rest and play. She’ll automatically dump her work and like a flash, she’s off playing oredi. What to do hor? …. *triple sigh* ….

My 2 boys is exactly like that. I’m tired of yelling…and they haven’t changed yet!
My boy is the dilly dally type especially when ask to do things he doesn’t like. But if i request for something, he is always the first to get for me.
If we are going out, Emily will be the first out the door. Both hubby and Tim will linger, take things or donno do what.
