Teacher says…..
Apr 24th, 2008 by Jesslyn
Night time, I checked Wien’s school bag. Noticed the date written on top of her exercise books was wrong, get her to amend it to today’s date.
Me : eh, your date is wrong, change it now. Today is 22/04/08, not 25/04/08.
I use eraser to erase the wrong date, pass her the book for amendment.
Wien : cannot change, I follow teacher. She wrote it on white board.
Me : I know you follow your teacher but she is wrong this time. Change it.
Wien : (take back her book from me) …cannot change, later teacher say I no follow her..
Then she wrote again the wrong date….
Me : (Adui……how ar? Not everything the teacher is correct ler). You change now, tomorrow go back to class, you tell your teacher should be 22/04/08, not 25/04/08. If she scold you, tell mummy!
At last, she changed it unwillingly.
See, kids so obey to teacher’s instruction and the way they do thing. If the teacher is gila or pusing type, then our kids sure die lor…..

My DS always say that teacher says this, teacher says that! Quite irritating too!!! He rather give his teacher the credit, rather than the parents!
Poor Wien, kena stuck in between. Hehehe….I think I was faced with that in primary school but was very afraid to tell the fierce teacher that she is wrong.
“you tell your teacher should be 25/04/08, not 22/04/08″
eh, you also wrong ah??? LOL
ya lor, my boy oso like that one!
haha….teacher sure right one hoh….overwrites mommy
Hehe..mebbe she’s afraid she will get punished.
My Alycia is just like that… to her, her teacher is always right. There’s something that her teacher does which I hate, i.e. to fold the page of her book into half whenever there’s homework. How wrong can that be, teaching kids to mistreat a book right?
same thing ler.. my girl also say cannot this cannot that or the teacher will scold! i also tell them if the teacher say anything, ask her teach to call me…hehehe
Yup, my children do that too. Usually I would say (take your case as example): Ask your teacher again if it is 22/4/08 or 25/4/08. This would be a softer way of saying the same thing, preventing children from feeling unhappy and also a way to let her teacher know her mistake. Just my thoughts.
so far, my girl listen to me because i show prove that her teacher is wrong. now, mommy is alright right.
I’ve heard that kids listen to watever the teacher says (n thinks that the teacher is always right) but I’ve yet to experience it with my girl. Well, she’s the type that doesn’t obey or listen to anyone! Sometimes not afraid of the teacher oso.
u still remember whether when we were young, we behaved the same???
