Since early January, when Wien enters standard 1, we changed her sleeping room. She used to sleep with MaMa but now we let her sleep alone in another room.

The second room used to be my sewing room cum store room. A lot of stuff was stored there; really look like a store room. There is a bed there but also stuff with too many stuff like clothing, toys, pillows etc. Hubby commented many times that he wants to turn this room into kids’ room. At first I wonder how he can do it coz too many stuff there, where he want to move all these stuff??

During his company shut down on Christmas week, he really took out all the stuff there (mostly send to charity place) and empties the room. Not totally empty the room but at least it is enough to become a bedroom for Wien. Hubby re-arranges the bed and moves the kid’s mattress from our room to this room. So now my master bedroom has lot of space now, I can even do aerobic in my room too! LOL

Wien very excited over her new bedroom. Each night she’ll sleep in her room with the dim light on. However she wants me to accompany her to sleep. Usually I go back to my room once she falls asleep. But this girl will wake up in the middle of the night, and she will go to my room disturb me. She will drag me to her room and sleep with her. Her room only has one single bed, how am I going to co-sleep with her? One time both of us squeeze in the single bed, I try to give her more space to sleep, end up the next morning my whole body pain.

Papa told her big girl already, must sleep alone in own room, cannot always ask for mummy accompany. But she still will come to me if she ever wakes up middle of the night. Sometimes I just let her sleep with me in our king size bed. Let’s hope very soon she will get use to sleep alone in own room.

Now where is Lyon?

Since we move the kids’ mattress to Wien’s room, Lyon also no longer sleeps with me. At first she request to sleep with Wien but she wants me to sleep with her too. Papa said the room very small, cannot occupy so many people yet, so both must sleep together without mummy accompany. Then Lyon said since jie jie no longer sleep with MaMa, so now she can go to MaMa’s room and sleep with her. Hehehehe…..so now this manja girl has shifted her sleeping room to her MaMa’s room.

Now my master bedroom is all by myself and hubby. Occasionally one of them will come in and sleep with us lar….

….frankly I still prefer my kids to sleep with me…….
