I caught Wien sucked her thumb during bedtime. She been wean off this habbit long time ago(I think is about 6 month ago, need to dig back my old blog! ), credit given to MIL. I told her : No No No, her thumb’s bum almost gone liao, if suck again, it will look ugly again. Then she sleep without sucking it. I didn’t wake up during midnight to check on her.
When I back from work yesterday, MIL told me, she hide herself behind the sofa and suck thumb. I told her mummy upset with her if she keep doing that. Then she promised me will not suck again. In fact, some times ago, she did ask me whether can suck her thumb or not. I told her of course cannot lar, else your Sunday school friend will teasing you, bla bla bla…..
Looks like tonight I got to spot check on her, other wise she might suck again, then our effort wasted! Frankly, thumb sucking NOT easy to wean off.

I still think weaning from pacifier is easier than thumb.
my sis sucks wean off from sucking thumb right b4 she goes to primary one! let her be lar…they find comfort in sucking leh…if not u give her ur nen nen to suck lar…kekekekeke
Pacifier taken away, so suck thumb lor. Just like my Raelynne. sometimes after she’s in deep sleep, we would take away her pacifier, then not long after that you can see her hand on her mouth trying to suck it. I guess its natural.

Jess, threaten her as sucking will lead worms to her mouth. Hahaha..recently i love to apply this method as it helps to get rid some of Jo’s bad habits.
haha..i like huisia’s idea..cause I’m also doing that to faythe..everything oso results in worms
actually..if she wants to suck..let her la. just tell to do it in private. it’s comforting for them…maybe she was stressed/tired out?
