Lyon turns 5 on 22/11/2009.
Organized a small birthday party for her. Invited 3 of her best classmates. Thanks to the girls’ mummy for being able to send their girls to my house, although I had offered myself to pick them up.
Bought a small blueberry cake and cook some simple (very simple) dishes for them….also at the same time settle the dinner for other family members….

Heard this word before? I learn this new word from hubby.
Wien is a digital control girl. Hehe….feel funny right?
Due to her dilly-dally character, so her papa had to use digital control to ask instruct her do things.
How does digital control work now? It work like give one instruction at one time, once she finish the first task, then give another instruction. This girl of mine have to use this method, then only she will finish her task or work on time.
She is active type, cannot sit still, always will find things or excuse to do own things. If you ask her do things, she can be very dilly-dally and take her own sweet time. I have to repeat and repeat the instruction, yet she can still sitting or running around the house or play with her sister. Until I take out ruler or cane, then only she willing to do as per my request.
Now her papa cannot tahan this behavior. So he came out this digital control method. Give one instruction in one time, then watch her finish it, after that give another instruction. (those instruction can be doing homework, clean up her room or cupboard or toys bin etc). So far this method very effective to her papa lar. Of course la, her papa will be standing there and watching her ler……
Too bad, I am not so like to use it cos my girl is not robot. LOL
When my instruction not work ( as usual….cos they like to bully me), then I will call her papa for rescue! There come the digital control…..so I just close one eye!

It is long school break after next week, yet the girls not yet collect back their report card. This mummy anxious to know their placement is class. I already know Lyon’s placement, just pending her report card…..(wah, she is No 1 in the class ler…really a surprise to me cos she really quiet in the class and her papers marks quite close to each other too). 还有还有。。。。他也是班上的模范生咧!:P
Wien will be Standard 2 next year and starting next year, the students will be placed in class according to their result obtained in standard 1.(分班制度).Hubby and myself not so like this kind of system. It has pro and con. To us, kids should study in the fair environment where no competition at all; regardless they are smart or not smart. Poor Wien…..her papa pray hard she did not sit in first class cos he does not want his girl to face so much pressure from her peers. This is the main reason why I so kancheong about her placement in class. We already know her papers mark for all subject, pending placement only.

My mini model dislike her polka dot umbrella dress now. She commented the dress expose her meat too much. So far she only wore twice.
She means people can see a lot of her “armpit meat”.
Now she requested me to add on small sleeve or ruffle at armpit/shoulder area.
Haiz…I am so lazy to do alteration work, I rather sew a new one for her!

This week is the exam week for Wien.
I am not sure she is kan-cheong or not but her mummy is worry for her. And I believe majority parents will behave like me too. Agree?
I coax her to do revision since last week, and only cover the syllabus that given by her teacher. Hopefully the given guideline is correct, else I will fainted! LOL
While the kids still in exam week, try not to argue or scold them if you know they already doing wrong in the past paper. This will only make them upset and lower their confidence. Take it easy and get them ready for next papers. This is what I learn from my hub. He noticed I like to dig answer from Wien for the paper that she sat. He stopped me from doing so and told me to nag or scold after the exam week. However this kan-cheong mummy will still ask and did from her…hehe…but only ask and no scolding or nagging….else her papa going to kill me in the room!
As for Lyon, she also has exam. It is over by now and she is doing very well. Brought back all her papers yesterday. Most papers are with good marks. She deserves a small gift from me soon.

Lyon asks for new crayon set lately. This is how she describe the crayon set when she ask me to buy for her:
- much bigger set as compare to her current unit,
- packaging like a suit case, got 2 birds outside the packing
- contain 48 crayon
- etc etc…..
Later her papa tell her:
I can buy you new crayon set but you must show me your justification first….(this is his forever conditions!!)
You have to go to Sunday school, then only qualify to get this set.
Can you make it?
She answered : YES.
(She had been skipping this class long long ago already!!)
Hehe…I told hub dun feel happy so early, this girl always fly kite wan. Each time she promised will go with her sister but end up crying at Sunday morning and refuse to go.
Last Sunday, she really fulfill her promise and go to Sunday school happily with her sister.
Wow, a big surprise to me!
Right after she back from school, she quickly ask for crayon set from her papa. LOL
As usual, hub will ask me to hunt for it. Wien want the set too but her papa said No, this set is belong to Lyon and have to share share too. He added if Wien well behave, he may consider to buy her separate set!
(Wien sometimes very naughty at home, she ever bully Lyon and Lyon ever fight back too. Who says girls more kuai??)
Glad that Lyon allow her sister to use her new crayon set!

One of my hot selling dress is umbrella dress and Lyon own quite a number of pieces of this dresses too. I wanted to snap photos of this dress while she do the spinning or turning around. However most of the time the picture turn out blur or not so sharp. And the poor part is, this mini model of mine refuse to repeat spinning after 1 - 2 times of trying.
She said : Mabuk lar.….
Last week while we spend time at my mom’s place, her papa took out camera and want to take photos of the girls while they are playing with next door kids. He saw Lyon wearing new polka dot umbrella dress, so he request her to do the spinning. But she only do one spinning and refuse to do anymore. Lucky the picture turn out ok.
Take a look….
Lyon ready with her new polka dot dot umbrella dress.

Wien’s Sunday school teacher (volunteer helper) rely this small story to us.
Last Sunday Wien attended Sunday school class. She told the teacher that she helped her papa washed and polished car on Saturday evening. Some of her friends teased her!
“eh, you are kakak meh?”
“haha…that is kakak job ler?”
“haha…why you do kakak work wor? where is your kakak?”
If you are there, what’s your respond? How you will reply those questions?
I am not sure how the teacher reply them. But she told us she is shocked when heard all those questions. I am sure all those kids are so much depend on kakak.
Our house do not have any kakak. Everyone in the house is the kakak, including Wien and Lyon. Both of them have to do little house work if mummy or Mama is busy. (Now I am getting them to wash school shoes on weekend! no more throwing into washing machine…)
…and I am glad that our house do not have kakak cos the girls will willing to give me a hand while I am super busy, just that I have to keep calling or reminding them.
