Our version of hammocks
May 9th, 2007 by jesslyn
Two weeks ago, I wrote a post on hammocks for my paid post advertiser. Only I get to know the cradle thingy (or swing?) is called hammocks. See, I also learning something new via writing paid post!
Actually we had the hammock material at home and MIL used to tie it between 2 window iron rails in her room and let the girls’ swing on it. There is king size bed under the swing, so no worry if they fall down.
Just recently MIL tied the hammock between the longan tree and the gate. The tree’s branches look not so strong but actually it is very strong. Now the 2 monkeys girls have another new activity in evening time!
The whole view of the tree and hammock.

Hubby and myself slowly rearrange the garden now, threw those useless thing slowly. MIL like to keep them for no reason (I hate it), I have to find excuses to threw them. My very good excuse is to buy a garden swing and I need the place to be empty!
She no comment so far.
Some pictures of the hammocks. See, the girls very enjoy swinging. They even brought their soft toys to swing with them!

Now each time when I back from work, I am sure can find them under the tree! My area is not kampung though, but hubby’s intention is to let the girls experience kampung life as much as possible. Just like how we spent our time during childhood.
Who want to send your kids here? You are most welcome! I am sure LLS will raise his hand now!
