Lyon's Pacifier

Lyon’s chut chut broken again. She likes to bite it since she got mouth full of teeth. I cannot recall how many unit I had bought for her. I noticed the hole she made are all the same, can see from the picture, bite from side first.
Usually I’ll have a spare pacifier at home, just in case she lost it while went for outing or she damaged again her chut chut. But this time I totally forgot that no more spare pacifier in my wardrobe. She had been using the broken chut chut for 4-5 days and no complain too. hehehe…this mummy always forgot to go out and buy a new one for her. And this careless mummy also never think of what if she swollow the broken part while sound asleep, she might get choke too!
But yesterday, her good jie jie remind me to make sure I buy a new pacifier for her mei mei after work. She even called to office to remind her forgetful mummy. 
So I didn’t forget this time, I had bought her a cute Disney Pooh pacifier and a butterfly shape one as spare….didn’t take pictures for her new pacifier, as she keep sucking it. End up I also forget to take. 
Now I have not think of when to wean off her pacifier yet, probally when she is 3 only I start worry. But I am sure MIL will act first before me, as she is the one who wean off Wien’s thumb sucking habbit too!
Why wait till 3yo. May be it’s time to wean her from the chut chut? Can use the broken ones as excuse?? She’s so keng. And she’s so chubby!
My son likes to bite too, but he has no teeth yet. Wonder his chut chut will be like that in future??
What’s the life span of Lyon’s pacifier??

your should be glad that she is not on breastfeed anymore… else that would be your nipple
Why don’t you cut it and tell her cannot buy any more pacifier. See how is her reaction? Maybe she will just sleep without it.

I think you must take this chance to wean her off and not buying a new one LOL! Hehee…
I weaned off the pacifier from my elder daughter but very soon she started sucking thumb and pillow to help her sleep.
The hole in the chut chut reminded me of JS’s. She likes to bite it too. Last time she needs 2 chut chut, one to play with and another to suck at the same time. A month after she turned 2, her chut chut gone like the one shown in your pic, I just threw it away, and no more chut chut from then. But she resorted to her milk bottle even until now…which cause cavities..YUCKS
Qi Ning never take on to pacifier since she was a baby so I “han fan” on buying pacifier for her!
I’m just glad that Chloe never took to the pacifier at all.. we never had to buy another one for her.. hahah!!
I thank God that all my 3 children dont like pacifier but kiki sucks her finger and barny is sucking his fingers!!!
i still do not wanna wean kiki yet…she finds comfort in sucking. her finger bended to one side d!

Me lazy to wear now, sure she cry non-stop wan. I think her chut chut last for 3-4 mth only, quite fast hor!

i also think this is the best time to wean off the pacifier huh. I wean off my 2nd gal’s chut chut when she was abt 15mths old. I cut off the top and place it on the table. When she ask for her chut chut just give it to her and when she abt to put in her mouth, she saw something wrong huh. She refuse to touch it ler. “jadi la” wean off from there.
* i try this method when my elder gal abt 1yr + also. So try again and can wo *hee…

Mei Mei was weaned off chut chut before 2 years old. Actually, this is a good opportunity for you to do so. But too late! U already bought one for her. Lol.
She sure loves the pacifier as a source of comfort. Hehe. If its not the pacifier, its the breast!!
