First try on Pao

Lately I read/surf lots of food blog, try to learn how to make nice pao, muffin and cake. So far I never try on making pao (包子）, so tempted to try it one day. so last Sunday, finally I give it a try. The girls so excited when they heard I want to venture in making pao.
I bought 1 pack of pao flour, inside include flour, and yeast, shortening and some small small pack of don’t know what flour. I just follow the instruction and mix all ingredients and wait for it to become double size. Very simple actually.

Wien’s pao. ..this girl really rough, all her pao never turn out nice wan.
Lyon’s pao….her pao all mini size one, one bite can gao tim! 
We make vegetable pao and meat floss pao. Will try again when I am free.

my children only like tausar pau…anywhere got sell ready made tausar arh?
You can cook the tausar yourself too. Red bean (blend)+ sugar+ pandan leaf….
Always wanted to try making pao. Easy to make?
Easy lar…only kneading need more time and energy…hehehe….

50cents a pao is cheap! Over here is RM1.00 for one pao.

Haiyo, I think will be troublesome for me. I think I’ll buy from the stall too cos hubby likes to eat ‘char siew’ and ‘tau sar’, Des likes ‘lin yung’ and I like ‘choi’ (veggie). How to make with so many types of fillings?
There’s a stall in Seri Kembangan selling mini paus at RM1 for 3 and there’ll be 10 for RM3. Very delicious too.
Do 1-2 inti at one time first.
easier to make or just buy at coffee shop?
