Backdated Post.
We went to D’Paradise on 15/07/07. Though it was a very tiring trip to us me coz need lot of walking but the girls enjoy the trip very much. D’Paradise is a Tropical Fruit World located very near to my hometown. I always wanted to pay a visit to this place but just couldn’t make it. Finally, hubby’s company organized a family trip for staff family member, then only we got the chance to go. Hehe…with his company subsidy, we only need to pay half of the entrance fee. Mind you, the entrance fee for this place is not cheap at all. Go check out online the price, then you will know. By the way, they also giving away free ticket via online, you can claim yours too!
Back to the topic now.
During the trip, we can see lot of rambutan and durian as it is the season now. As for other types of fruit, not much is fruiting now, so only can see trees. Yeah, tree only. haha…
Hubby took quite a lot of those fruits and flowers picture. I like the lotus pond very much, lotus flower is so pretty.
First round, hubby don’t want to hire buggy coz he said come to this kind of place, we should walk. Ok lor, all of us walk. But after not even half an hour, Lyon starts asking me to carry her. My goodness, those areas is build with slops, imagine how tire I am!!! Hubby helps to carry Lyon too. After finished the first round of walking, we back to the restaurant to have our lunch. This is the first time the resort having more than 200 guests, so I can see quite a havoc situation there. Their staff cannot handle well such a big group. The lunch served to us not nice at all, the girls dislike it. But no else where I can find food for them, so just feed them some plain rice and fish ball. See, kids also know how to complaint their food not nice.
We still have another portion of the fruit yard to go, suggested to hubby we better hire one buggy; else my legs going to broke soon. Go to counter to pay, only found out the buggy cost RM50 each. Wow, so expensive! I told hubby don’t take lar…but he said: you want also don’t have now, all fully booked! So, end up another round of walking lar.
Added: Taxi service not available during peak season wor, don’t you think the service is suck!
Tired…tired….tired…….
This round, more fun part for the kids coz they managed to see and play with rabbit, ostrich, dears, cow, goat, monkey and other animals. Hubby and I just let them play with rabbit while we take a rest. Too bad, Lyon stick to me most of the time, she told me she scare those animals except rabbit. Haiyo…this koala bear, really make mummy tire all the time!
…tbc….

eh! Looks good wor that place… but nothing much for the kids to play wor :s
yeah, it’s look good from the web…overall ok la. Should go at least one time lor!
eh…last time I paid RM10 for taxi buggy, no more this service aredi meh?
Got, but at that time they say not available ler..funny hor! I just added the sentence in my post.
Sounds like a great nature outing… minus the walking.
Overall the trip is ok lar….treat it as exercise lor.

They should implement hop on and hop off little train around the farm.
They have taxi service but cannot hop on & off as you like. they only stop in certain area and u will miss some attractions also. So still walking is the best way if u wish to see all the plantation there.
