Cane or no cane

If you know me well, then you will know I never cane my girls, not even smack them using my hands. I think the main reason is due to my parent never cane me before, that’s why I never learn to cane my kids now. 
In the house, I am the good guy who pampers them a lot, end up both climb up to my head now. I try to change my discipline way, but fail each time. I could not bear them crying sound. Hubby knows I will spoil them, so he acts a bad guy in the house. If he see me no take any action when they misbehave (like running in the house, jumping on sofa, fighting or quarreling), he will takes out a cane and frightened them. If they still no obey, then hubby will cane their thigh.
Now, if they notti again, hubby will just show cane, then they will stop it immediately. They scare papa more than mummy. I still believe cane is one of the way to discipline our kids but cannot beat too hard, else they will feel very upset towards your action and might hurt them too!
So, I can say I am not the who spare the rod.
Now I wish to know below mummies’ parenting pattern include caning or not?

I don’t have a cane at home..
The worse I’ll go is spanking her backside with my hand. Most of the time it’s just giving them the stare, or I just raise my voice.. and they would have listen.
See if I have time to do this or not ok?

Thanks for the tag. The cane is there to remind my children not to be notty. We are in the same shoe, I am the good guy too.
I think my children are more afraid when I get angry although I don’t cane.

No worry, he knows how to balance out. They still stick to him once he is back from work.
Both hubby n I bad guy but PaPa caned more pain than Mummy…
how u know papa cane painful than you cane wor? Jerial cry louder ar? LOL
